  • are you going to ignore their numbers on spotify? this is the most embarrassing proof that despite all the decoration they are not a top group and maybe will never be.

LMFAO. svt's main market is asia, where spotify isnt used as much. we can also say the same thing abt ive, who have lower spotify stats compared to their counterparts because their fans are in ASIA.

But that still doesn’t make any sense. Sure you could use that as an excuse for Spotify, but Asia’s a massive user of YT, yet Seventeen has yet to get decent numbers there. Let’s put BTS and BP in another box as no kpop group comes anywhere close to their numbers. But just weird that they can’t seem to hit the streams, views and numbers that Twice and Exo had……excluding the album sales…..just strange. But congz to them anyways, would be nice though if OP actually displayed the stats….

Not true when asia has sea and a little bit japan. But I'm talking about the sales to stream comparison, if the sales were not so inflated no way a group doing 6M of sales per album, that is double of what bts was doing at their peak on 2020-2021, will be pulling so weak streaming numbers. But we know kpop sales don't even reflect the actual real fandom power and less for seventeen with all the shady strategies they have been using to increase sales to this extent.

uhh their biggest fandoms are in china and japan, with korea also buying a lot too. all countries that have their own streaming platform. also im pretty sure pledis won't inflate album sales THAT much and just as an example,:

a company isn't gonna buy all those albums for no reason when they are just pre releases. all of them sold like 100k each. that's real not fake.

and, uh carats also dgaf about streaming numbers, engangement shit etcc. we mainly focus ons SEVENTEEN, gose, their music etc. u don't see that many carats having stupid arguments like these, do you?

Y'all like one of the most unproblematic top boy group fandoms since I have been in to kpop.

I didn't say pledis bought these albums, the rumors about kpop companies overshipping albums but there is no proof about it, but I'm talking about their strategies of lot of versions, photocards and cheap digipacks. I actually believe with all those strategies seventeen can justify 3M of sales, even 4M a little but 6M is unreasonable no matter how you look at it.

there's 187 photocards NOT counting pre-orders, you get an entire set in each carat pack, and 1 pc for the KiT version.

The physical album comes in six versions: AM 5:26, PM 2:14, PM 10:13, Carat (13 total 1 per member), Weverse Albums, and KiT.

SF9 has done 3 versions and a kit and all the members in jewel cases which the carat version is basically a cd a small photobook if that and some photocards.

it's not unreasonable at all. you get 6 different pc's in the regular 3 versions of the album, of course fans are going to bulk buy to collect their favorites especially if you're OT13.

Don't act like Seventeen is the only group who does this...MANY other companies do this as well.

There's weverse versions, kit versions, album versions etc. I can take a picture of my entire collection to prove it.

Even up10tion did 4 versions and jewel cases per member for the old japanese releases.

You just want to try to create some bullshit argument to assume that Seventeen isn't actually doing this, when they are. lol. And they have BEEN doing these versions long before Hybe took ownership of Pledis.

It's incredibly possible that over time they gained more fans, their music has been discovered more and people are loving them. They are growing and selling more every comeback. That's growth. They have a great discography so I find it funny you want to argue their achievements...they did everything themselves with barely any help from pledis. It's about time people are recognizing them properly.
