I don't have any strong preference, they'll all do well, but my prediction is they're going for:

Minju (or Yunah, but since Chanelle got cut, I think more likely they've decided on Minju)

Because the REAL Minju literally still exists.

But now every time i search for Minju on TW and now EVEN YOUTUBE, i'm getting bombarded with Fake Minju results. OMG nobody wants to see that. I want Minju and Minju news and vids only.

Its bad enough now with Fake Minju being a trainee, but imagine what will happen if she actually becomes a full fledged idol member of the newest Hybe group.

Other than Yunah being picked over Jeemin, I feel there's little surprise as the lineup seems largely predetermined. Yeongseo was a no-brainer and Koreans would understand why Wonhee was always a shoe-in; and if you follow Japanese media, you know Iroha and Moka were the most popular Japanese contestants.

The question was which 2/3 between Jeemin, Minju and Yunah. I thought Chanelle getting cut meant the group was being optimized for a cute/teen fresh concept vs girl crush and so Jeemin (and Minju) would fit the bill better than Yunah. But, then again I've heard it brought up that we don't know what Jeemin's real personality is like as she's tightly managed her image on the show, being experienced in the industry starting as a child actor. Though, there's that time she let her anger slip out when she was demoted that left quite an impression.

Anyways, any permutation of the three wouldn't change the group's 15-19 age range. Performative or not, int'l fans seem outraged, like this is something new or surprising. Somehow, I don't think this is by accident.
