Good. CJ didn't do shit for Enhypen. It's Bighit/Hybe that gave Belift Lab everything from trainees, concept, music, and even staffs lol

It's about time Hybe claim what's theirs back or they're a pushover. I also think the Enhypen members like the Hybe tag more than CJ.

This is also good news for the RUNext GG that's about to debut soon because I see big potential in them.

Too bad they might be wrong tho if they think like that. Zb1 only have 2 1/2 years contract and after that cj need to keep spending more and more money to debut new survival show group. Following the old produce series too, survival shows groups tend to lost their hype and decreased in sales especially nearing their disbandment date.

Well all they need to do is repeat the cycle and it will earn money. Survival shows created by mnet just has that appeal specially if its similar to the classic produce setup. They are the reason why other companies are doing this bunch of pseudo-survival shows with their own trainees but cant replicate the same success. Also enhypen growth has been slower in comparison with their peers.

Hybe try not to acquire a label challenge : failed

Hybe paid ~ $114 million USD. You don't spend that much unless you think you will get that back and more.

Yes and they also need spend millions to do it while the revenues will be split with few other companies.

Yes Enhypen growth might be slower but again it's because of mnet and cj themselves. And they're not that slow tho, they're only 2 years old group with lack of promotion. Cj/mnet basically treated Enhypen like they treated Kep1er, which obviously it will never work. Cj didn't put any effort to promote them and the only thing they have to hype the group is their relationship with hybe. Cj also messed up big time with their cb. Yet they still improving their sales a lot and I believe will might improve a lot after hybe take over their management 100%.

maybe it is a win for both sides.

HYBE wants to take full control of their group and CJ doesn't want to manage anymore and take a profit.

Cj enm never did anything except maybe give money but hybe has enough of that too. + they might see Enhypen as the competitors of zb1 and focus even less on them than before. And hybe can also start taking Enhypen more seriously cause it was obvious they care more about their other groups doing well. From a financial perspective that made sense cause it wasn’t 100% their group.

There must be another terms to the deal with CJ,

150 billion won for 51,5% shares of agency that only have one active group is too much.

En- it's doing pretty well right now, especially in Japan. Even with just a big comprehensive tour, they can make good money for the company.
