If edam entertainment had been contacted it would have sent Jo Seungyeon (Woodz), who has some following in Japan. He is nowhere to be seen, meaning Edam was not in the list of companies contacted. The lineup includes some people who are less known than him, so his non-appearance means Edam is not considered important by those who do matter.
It seems that those who run music policies only realized the domesticists had absolutely zero value as much as advancing Korea's position in the world was concerned.
The trottists will have a position since the older pop of Korea will have to be placated, but it seems this realization that the domestists are useless and just take up spaces will have a very negative impact on the domesticists, who will be phased out rather faster than I thought.
