What is your favorite musical instrument?

Intuitively, I’d say drums because I consider it to be a foundational instrument for modern music.

If I think rationally on it, I’d say stringed instruments like guitar or harp.

Piano,,, well I don't know how to play it but listening it, so peace full.

I like pretty much all acoustic instruments. It's very situational which, but some instruments can really shine on some songs.

My favorite instrument has changed over the years, but today it is the electric guitar.

I ended up picking my first digital piano after trying a few side by side, and checking out the best keyboard piano helped me figure out what actually felt good to play instead of just chasing specs. Stuff like key weight and having a headphone jack really made day-to-day practice smoother for me.

Late to the party, but I’ve been really into the kalimba lately. It’s tiny, soothing, and super fun to mess around with after a long day. Anyone else tried one? Or has anyone picked up a new instrument since this thread first started?

Piano, violin and erhu

Weirdly the clarinet. Not sure why, can't play it, just always thought it was beautiful, even though hearing acoustic quitar sends me into a completely different realm, clarinet is still my favourite.
