JK is BTS' greatest hope for a breakthrough GP hit from a soloist. I do think there is a small chance he could upstage New Jeans, i still dont understand why Hybe has him debuting in between NJs releases omg.
Itzy hit #4 last summer with Sneakers. Stayc reached # 4 with Teddy Bear i believe just behind the three NJ songs this year. OMG is in a danger zone where they could completely fall off Korean radar, but they could just as easily pull off a Hail Mary. Dun Dun, Dolphin and Nonstop all peaked at #1 or #2.
You are joking right, JK getting a GP hit in SK is not going to happen. Especially if it’s looking like it’s going to be all English. It will do well probs globally. But SK not a chance, males and boy groups don’t chart well there, with the exceptions. And it’s so apparent in the last year with the absence of BTS, no one gives two cence about boy groups anymore. SK is one of those …………. countries who just loves ……….. girl groups because of their own …….. insecurities. Leave the rest to your imagination lol
