Nope, its just a coincidence. To be at the top you must be at the right time and the right place. Luck also play a part. We don't know what the future holds. Maybe 1-2 years from now there are group that able to surpass them.

There is no set timeline, just wait on it.

What? It wasnt just bp, there were several girl groups doing well in charts before them, twice and gfriend also had hits during debut year. 4th gen bgs are not even worth talking about too.

The only place where 4th gen groups are doing better numbers is album sales, just because numbers are up in general and kpop expanded due to the top 3rd gen groups

U do realize 3rd gens initial start was with exo? Exo was bigger than most 2nd gen groups after their break out with growl. Not even one dominant 4th gen group exists till now. 3rd gen had early beginning.
