Sales show that the fandoms are growing but not necessarily because your lastest song/album was good

Well, but there's no final judge to define what is objectively a "good song". Maybe, for example, a previous song from a group that grew a lot in sales wasn't good for you, but It was good for a widen audience who got interested in the group due said release.

Rock bands doesn't have great hits but their sales are always huge. We say that same thing about kpop boy groups. Even if their song doesn't hit public but their fandoms always growing. we can also look into opposite for artists Even constantly release hit songs their fandom doesn't grow much and it doesn't correlate with their sales either

My only metric to judge a song's quality is my personal taste. I could not care less about its popularity. Rollin' did not suddenly become a good song in 2021 when it was released in 2017.

In fact, Western KPop fans often at least made an effort to go beyond what they get spoon fed on the radio by looking beyond that.

GP just listening to what plays on the radio and not searching beyond that is mindless behavior.
