Is there a point to spend money on teaser material for kpop releases anymore?
The group making biggest wave in kpop rn, newjeans, has the budget of potato bag for teasers. The got one bunny logo that gets a different color.
On the other hand there are groups that spend tons on teaser materials including images, mood samplers, teaser vids, album previews and all.
Even smaller companies took a note and decided to spend their budgets on promoting the song and album after its actually released. It seems to be more effective now to spend money for promotion not teasers.
