Sakura's career with Izone and Le SSerafim compared to AKB48

In Japan? Maybe not yet: she was in AKB48 during the height of their popularity I believe. But worldwide? She's definitely hitting it out of the park with LSFM. She only hit that 7.3M followers on IG recently. In the long run she'll definitely be making more money in LSFM.

I was going to say something but I think if anyone has intellectual honesty they know

1. Yes she is more successful internationally compares to her AKB48 career

2. Both OTR ( was) and Hype is holding her back a little by not fully ultimate her max potential (maybe she is holding back herself and let other members shine too) so I think she could be more successful once they released her full potential and once LSR reach their biggest stardom

She could go solo and sell 500k right now. That's how huge she is. Only Wonyoungie and Karina could outsell her in terms of 4th gen soloists.

Japan? Akb48. I think I remember tsuki talking about how popular kkura is in japan because of her presence in that group.

As for the outside of japan though? Definitely her presence in the kpop industry (cough *le sserafim* cough)

Ssera is one of the biggest 4th gen GGs out there right now and I’d even argue that it is more successful than izone actually

Sakura has a HUGE LOYAL fan base, very hard to achieve.

To consider that Jurina and Sakura were sort of equal rivals when both joined PD48.

Well, Sakura clearly won that war big time, with hitting it as big as she did, not just once but twice!

Her popularity is still a mystery to me, compared with the powerhouse aces that AKB48 has had over the years, or that were in IZ*One and PD48 too. But I guess it's because I'm not that big a fan of her - although I can see her adorable charm - that I don't see why she's regarded as so much more special than others in AKB48 and IZONE
