One thing I would say that bts Chinese scandal effected their individual sales a lot because most of the soloists with high album sales have a huge Chinese fandom support but for bts I think only v and jk's Chinese fandom are standing still now. I didn't see much Chinese sales for hobi and RM's albums. Idk about jimin. We will see

Jimin's C bar was singled out by the CCP for the support they did for his Birthday last year. It's why kpop C bars were being censored and discouraged from spending so much on Korean idols. I think they are just laying low. JK's C bar is the most low key of all the Maknae C bars. Tae's C bar is still the most active and we will see if they decide to flex when/if he releases a solo. They bought some commercial ads for Jinny's Kitchen just like they did for Yoo Quiz. Tae has the strongest support in China.

Hmmm, I guess the fact that they do some good charity work in China makes other people feel a little more friendly towards Tae's bar? Yes, they make great promotions for Tae, but they also built bridges, schools and roads name's for Tae in China.
