IST negotiating contract renewal with APink, original one ends in april

a reminder that in the past they've renewed the basic 7 year one for few more years, so it's their 'second' extension talk.

This is their third renewal and second extension talk. I am not sure if they can keep Eunji or Hayoung might want to go solo or acting.

Most likely tho they will all renew since their solo careers aren't flourishing well.

It's really odd how their solo careers aren't doing well because at some point Eunji was kind of a it girl her solos and dramas were successful

Eunji is doing better as an actress, her series are doing well and she is usually the main.

She will probably continue to do music with her great voice, but she has never been a chart topper while singing solo.

yeah she was so successful at the beginning of her career with All for You is still one of the most played song in Korea and the drama had one of highest viewership at that time.

The issue started when IU took off and everyone compared them to each other and how IU was more of energetic singer and Eunji singing style is more like classic and clean. Koreans found her singing style not as attractive as IU.

Also IST never invested in her that much and more solo singers joined the arena of Kpop entertainment madness.

Eunji needs to leave IST for an acting agency, she can do the Wheein (Mamamoo) route, and join Apink whenever she's able to.

Wonder if we get any news about this soon, With nearly all VICTON members gone, IST's doom if APink leaves.
