It's also like those bland first couple of Taeyeon songs, but without the vocals to really elevate the song.
People always saying Rose's vocals this, and Rose's vocals that; but I've been saying all along her vocals are seriously lacking, so tinny, that's why she's always doing all these vocal "stylings" to hide that fact-- that it is so telling now. She tries to emulate a Christina Perri or Melanie Martinez or Taylor Swift type of vocals, but it just comes out as second rate, comes out like a Youtuber who is over-reaching; at least those others I've mentioned can project their vocals to at least have a foundation to build on. And not to mention, the whole song is a humblebrag-- it contradicts itself and just leaves the listener with a sour taste in their mouths at the end.
