Think about it, for DECADES female fans despised having to share a fandom with male fans. Twice fandom was notorious for this because it was almost a 50/50 split. If AI idols became big they are MORE likely to attract male fans because males are more into that, ie. because it’s game related. Especially the otaku males. And I’m sure female idols would be happier too, it’s not like they are eager to meet male fans who remind them of their CEOs.
If AI idols became popular wouldn’t it be a blessing in disguise for female idols

So female Idols should end up jobless?

Yes and with digital avatars that are more like characters than people, you could meet them and talk to them from your home, attend concerts from your home, and not even have to go outside. The downside is that they have no consciousness so every interaction with them is like a game you have to play along with, something really geeky but it would be right up my alley
