SM wouldn't have survived past the first generation if they didn't have all the Japanese money BoA made for them, Sooman wouldn't be able to bribe authorities and escape from Interpol, SM wouldn't have the resources to fund their training centers which produced groups like TVXQ, SNSD, and SJ. I think it’s the first time I agree with your threads. Seriously BoA did nothing wrong. Some people just wants to shift blame for GOT CB flopping because they are success stans who would probably sing BoA’s praises if the song was a big hit. The song flopped because it was shit. A good song would always get positive results even if it took time.

Where the people that are shading BoA right now, are the exact same people that had no problem shading SNSD, Aespa, or RV in other Pann/Nate/pannchoa/etc articles? What's everyone pretty much said above about how they want to blame the failure of GOT the beat on someone + people from this generation weren't apart of kpop from that time. Even later than that. People who started listening to kpop since 2nd gen will always respect BoA (unless she says and does toxic things etc, obv) but because she's like a Queen of Kpop, if not* the Queen. These netizens/kpop stans can't relate to that.

I'm doubtful it was BoA initiated it.
From what I recall, in interviews with the members it sounded more like it came from SM people, and a quick google search shows BoA saying about GOT The Beat “I don’t know why I am there, but I was very happy to be part of this project.”
She also mentioned after the GOT The Beat debut in Feb, 2022: '“I wish we could have GOT the ballad,” she says. “We do have a lot of great vocalists.”'
All this doesn't sound like BoA was the one pushing the project, at all.
More likely it's just some rumour knetz (haters or otherwise regular pann/nate public maybe) went wild with the rumors, with the usual flocks of people unquestioningly believing rumors once again.
Of course, I could be wrong, if so I'm sure people can show the hard evidence that states that BoA was the main organizer and initiator of the project
