it's like a joke thing I grew up with. where someone would say "what's up or guess what" and another person would reply "chicken butt" I guess the rhyming and randomness makes it sort of amusing lol.

Not sure if it's an american thing or generational or something unique to me or what the origin comes from. I do remember it a lot from childhood.
