For sure it's warranted to call out lipsyncing a ballad stage at a show like this, I couldn't enjoy it at all since I realized right away it's even the exact same audio track they already released on Youtube for this song. It's an unfortunate situation because the company is to blame but it's the girls who get the hate comments. There are a lot of really brutal comments from Koreans such as wanting Wonyoung to quit being an idol due to this stage..
Knetizens love critized wonyoung since they know wonyoung is one it girl 4gen but no 100% korean...they were the first critized wonyoung for didnt spin her head..called that as lazy dancing when she didn't skip the choreography since eleven era...
I have seen many knetizens has assumed they re majority insecure kids or woman...the reason Wonyoung isn't really scary..about them..she trying understand their frustration of her haters..

Yes those comments ain’t it saying don’t be an idol or calling them talentless. What I don’t uds is that is there a practise before this stage bcos it’s like kinda not a small event isn’t it? Many artists would love to perform there.

Not really this has been happening since AL, they have been lacking since then no one seemed to cared until some groups debuted that’s not feedback that’s straight up bullying lol they’re getting criticized for the most random things and it’s not only applying to their talent, literally people are paying on TT to shit on them and they’re getting million views. Expect for Sakura Ive never seen an idol being dragged then suddenly becoming the most talented idol it kills confidence of an idol.

Im honest sakura did lacked singing skills...i know hybe trainning vocal isn't that..even chaewon and yunjin vocal live isn't really stable esp their encore debut of lesserafim
They never sing in live during antifragile..era during the music show.
Asleast liz is always stable in encore.
I know both re better vocal technique than her.. but their stability isn't that

Didn’t know abt the amount of criticism they face and prob some are unjustified since I only followed 4th gen recently like weeks ago. I dont bother abt TT drama or follow up on them. But the year end performance ain’t it tho. Lip syncing is norm but without any live or much expressions.
But imagine having that energy to shit on them is like giving them free publicity

Liz is a good vocalist but she's not on par with some of the best vocalist of 4th gen same for Yujin so it's a great thing they ddon't try to push them to go for more challenging songs with lot of high note
it help to hide their weakness and still prove that they are capable vocalist
Rei is good just doing rap, she's a very very very weak vocalist, and thanks to starship not trying to push her out of her comfort zone by giving her vocal line, she can avoid criticism about her vocal and still come out as talented thanks to her rap
Gaeul is also not a very great vocalist so that's why she don't get a lot of vocal line and starship understood this, that's why they gave her the rapper job and she shine in it in After like
etc.....
tbh overall IVE is a very average/below average GG in term of skills with very average vocalist, no very strong dancer and rei who's doing a really good job as a rapper
but the reason why they are never attacked by kpop stans for their skills is thanks to Starship protecting their image by highlighting thee strenght of each member and hiding their weakness by not pushing them out of their comfort zone

Starship should give the lines at liz like 40 s lol if they want become fair..liz is always stable this is really main vocalist skills..yet she can't reach high notes like ailee wendy or lily etc..she can support her lines in ive songs
Yes asleast they re not like jyp give high notes at every comeback for twice when they get hard choregraphy...
