I'm not against anime live action, Death Note and Rurouni Kenshin movies are such a great series. But I will never forget the mess of Attack on Titan

Kiki Delivery Service was cute, but still... it's not satisfying enough.

Now my biggest question: theatrical adaptation=movie? Or just stage play?

Btw, Kanna-chan is super cute, even too cute as Chihiro

I love some live action dramas and movies. But for spirited away....

It's hard to visualize the magical parts in anime into real life movie. So I might have low expectation for this.

Honestly I'm a little bit confused with 'theatrical adaptation'. I mean, is it movie or stage play? In Japan, I've seen a lot of anime butai, and even though it looks a bunch of cosplayers acting on the stage, but it's such a common thing.

I see no problem with Whisper of The Heart. It's no difference with other romance/slice of life movie ig. I'm just a little bit dissatisfied with the cast, Tori Matsuzaka is too old for male role except if they change the storyline.

Is it due to covid they postponed the filming?
