I was racking my brain for so long as to why Sakura, with the absolute monstrous experience that she has, was okay with playing second fiddle to another center (Kazuha/Garam(if she never got kicked)). I think we can all agree that Kazuha is being pushed more than Sakura.
And then it hit me, Sakura could have negotiated a fixed center position with any other company and debuted, but how popular would the group have been? Probably would have been same tier as StayC girls it's going down (on you).
So she sacrificed her center position so that the group could soar to much greater heights. Essentially taking a hit on her short-term paycheck, by lowering her brand value. Incredible foresight from her part, she is truly a great woman. My favourite part is when she took of her cherry blossoms and said "It's Sakura-ing time" and then Sakura'd all over the place.
Sakura truly is, one of the kpop idols of all time.
