After lots of interactions with my fellow k pop lovers I think I've figured out there is three type of k pop fans. The first type views it all as a competition. My group(s) is better, my group(s) has better music, I must convince you and if you don't agree I must hate you and insult your group! The second type still believes that my group(s) is better, my group(s) has better music, I must convince you but is more relaxed at the possibility that everyone has their own likes. The third group is just secure in their favorites. The third group feels like they've got nothing to prove and thus sees no reason to get all wound up in defending their favorites or in convincing others of their group(s) superiority. It also seems like EVERY fandom has all members of all three groups. Just observations, am I wrong?
