tbh male lead is so calm most of the times that i often forget he is doing all this for revenge.
You should start it, it is really good with heavy business discussions and our lead sweeping everything and everyone under the rug. Although most of the characters are shown to be ruthless snakes, greedy and devoid of emotions yet still show will make you go through rollercoaster of emotions. -

2- dark shores
3- daughter of smoke and bone
series if you want some really epic YA/ enemy to lovers/ war/ fantasy series. these series are my top 5 when it comes to enemy to lovers trope.

About the bolded part, as long as it's not all negative for the good characters, I can handle snakey ones.
