if you're talking about the famous trolley problem though, then yes. a person willing to let more people die because they think doing otherwise will hurt their sense of integrity, they probably don't have much integrity in the first place. it's like only caring about people in theory instead of actual practice. people should be willing to make sacrifices for the greater good - and letting people die while you could do be doing something about it is just as bad as trying to hurt them directly.
