In my opinion NewJeans are pretty weak performers

    I always see people mentioning how good they are and how much fun they look like theyre having on stage, but tbh, aside from Danielle, I just don't see it. Granted, they do smile throughout their stages, but their eyes are completely empty so it doesn't look genuine to me. They are still rookies, so they'll obviously improve, but it's strange to me to see people saying that their performance today was up there with the likes of le sserafim and gidle.

    Newjeans is carried hardly by their concepts, none of the member stood out to me when I watched their performances. But in this recent performance Danielle carried.

    I agree. I can think of two of them that still look extremely nervous on stage

    No one in IVE look nervous on stage. In fact, when they go viral is often because of their charismatic performances, Leeseo at debut was a force. All of IVE members are very strong performers, even Liz never lacked on stage when she was facing the most criticism and online bullying at the time.

    The oldest one in the group is 18, they're a really young group and will improve as they mature. The girls you're comparing them to are a lot older, IDLE is what? 25-30?

    lol no. They go viral cause they're pretty girls and popular right now. Music shows they have cute faces for the cameras but these big stages they look lost on. When have people ever pointed at an Ive performance and said it was one of the top ones of the night. Even the recent one, the stage design and budget was the most impressive thing about it. The girls have zero energy on stage and their dancing is very lacking.

    They don't look nervous but their performance is weak as hell. As a fans, you might don't see it but try asking non fans, they will never put Ive in charismatic groups category.


    There's few times when these two groups performed in the same awards or festival.

    Just yesterday, Newjeans giving better performance at the Blue dragon awards as example and received more reaction because of it. And Nj outdo them in every university festivals they both attend. Nj get viral every time and being praise in every Korean media, viral in twitter and tiktok. People give more attention to Nj than Ive stage. And Nj is not even really outstanding performance too.

    Ive individually are really good but soemthing is wrong with their stage presence as a group.

    newjeans is a 3 month old group with members aged 14-18. Of course they will look unseasoned next to groups like Gidle and Lessera who have adult and veteran performers.


    At least the newjeans girls look alive and charming. They’re certainly not the worst performers I’ve seen recently.

    I think you have something mixed up here. It's true ive dances like they have zero energy but that does not mean their dancing is lacking.


    Gaeul, for example, can dance very well.

    IVE dancing skill isn't the issue it's their low energy and bland choreograpgy.

    If age corresponds to talent then why did Ador debut them early? They could afford to debut them until they were ready. Also Nmixx are the same age as them but their performances are top tier. So does age and being a veteran really matter?

    It doesn't. Wonyoung was already doing better than most of her competition on PD48 when she was only 14 years old.

    This didn't proof anything, their dancing is lacking and their mma stage the most boring and underperform one compare to other gg. It's what we call lacking.

    They're good performers tho. They're ready but experiences make better stage. Nmixx themselves is pretty good but still lacking here and there especially with their facial expressions. They're not in that top tier level yet. Age doesn't matter but experiences is, that's what make veteran and newbie pretty different from each other.

    ive stans standards are just too low, please excuse them. they clearly never watched good dancers before and in their world this mediocrity is already god tier

    I mean she's their best dancer and she's half-decent at best so...they've got four members who can't even execute simple moves correctly, Ive are definitely the weakest performers of the 4th gen so far (popular groups only, I don't keep up with all the nugu groups out there so don't @ me if they're worse)
