He's the one with black shirt and blue pants in beginning.

    His specialty is freestyle dancing

    Genuine question here,

But i always see people say that about ARMYs gonna Stan them hard etc etc.

    Why do people think that???

Like what would make Trainee A different from TXT or Enhypen that ARMY would wanna Stan them or join their fanbase ??

  • Exactly. What's the difference? Hybe is gonna copy paste the same concept on trainee a with same pd's.

  • I only know of the kid that's good at dancing so don't have much of an opinion on them

  • It is different cause BTS was still active when txt and enhypen debuted. And you cant deny majority of their stans are or were Army anyway.

Once BTS starts enlisting and there is no group content and come backs for a while fans will get bored and start looking for entertainment somewhere else. Finding replacement within the same company feels less like a betrayal I guess. This is what company stanning means.

I dont know why Army thinks they are immune to it.

  • Exactly. What's the difference? Hybe is gonna copy paste the same concept on trainee a with same pd's.

I was genuinely wanting to know lol, I wasn't being funny.

But I doubt Trainee A will be anything like TXT or Enhypen.

Trainee A will be more like BTS in the sense of writing their own music and producing, since Trainee A has 2 producers already with 3 lyricists. Plus They have actual rappers, than TXT or Enhypen.

And their whole image and concept is hiphop/r&b. So very different.

I think people say that though cuz they feel Trainee A concept and music is gonna remind some ARMY of earlier BTS, and would wanna Stan them and support them for the nostalgia, plus to be able to say "I was here at the beginning before they blew up"😂.

Which ain't nothing wrong with that AT ALL. So yeah.

  • Their dance line >>>>>>>

  • To those who expect them to be the next bts: the difference between bts and trainee a is that at one point in the past, army were actually motivated to achieve things for bts' sake and not just to feed their own egos, and that played a huge role in bts' growth. But then as bts snowballed, they began to create more and more company stans.

This isn't a drag towards TXT, but I will use them as an example. TXT had the eyes of most army on them, especially those with company stan tendencies, yet they couldn't replicate BTS' success, let alone top their generation. Why? Partially because their fandom simply isn't as motivated as army were when BTS' rise was sealed. They also started off with significantly better circumstances than SKZ and Enhypen yet can't secure a firm position above the two, especially above SKZ. Why? Because the easier a group has it from the beginning, the harder it is for the fandom to grow motivated to work for their faves.

Trainee A has a ton of company stan support now too. But hell, they're already having it easy and being criticised for promoting themselves as a small project while having the support of the biggest kpop company. The company stans supporting them currently and in the future will be just as complacent as they were with TXT. They could also attract new fans you say? TXT have too. But the problem is they arrive to this existing culture in the fandom set by the company stans, and they will mostly adapt to their thinking, since at the beginning, they won't possibly outnumber them. You also have to consider whether their concept will appeal to those who won't stan them just because they're under BigHit. A big Thai fanbase is expected since they cast an actor, and they will likely have a nice Japanese fandom too. But otherwise...the SMTM rapper won't do anything for them in Korea, neither will the dancer. Japan and Thailand could sustain them, good for them, but that won't help anywhere else really. Hybe seems to have taken a liking to uniformizing their groups musically, so Trainee A will have likely a typical hybe sound with a stronger hip-hop flair. Is there a great demand for that? Those who like hybe-like music already stan their groups, those who like groups with strong hip-hop influences and self-producing nowadays either stan bts or skz, the latter will not support, the former might support but mostly the ones with company stan tendencies, and I have explained already why they're not optimal.

The truth is, as long as bts are not seen like how the greats of 2nd gen are seen currently—well known but less relevant—new bighit bgs are "cursed" to be successful but never on top.

tl;dr they will definitely find success but I think many are expecting too much of them.

  • Bts had one of the most hard working fandom back then , even bighit used to brag about armys doing all the promo and translations on their behalf for free. They cared about the group, not company. When a group is already such big support its hard to stay motivated, you'll know they'll get at the top anyway. Hybe wanted a hardworking and pure fandom (free of multis and company stans) for trainee A that's why they didn't announced them as their trainees but I guess it didn't work. Leo fucked up and kpop stans turned their backs now Hybe stans and armys are their only hopes that's what they're more open about them being their new group.

  • I see their fans hyping them up but I don’t see anyone else actually talking about them. Maybe amongst Hybe stans? I’m not a Hybe stan but I see people talking about the other Hybe groups on socials like BTS, TXT and Enhypen but never this one other than people who seem to be fans already.
