Does &Team (Hybe Japanese boy group) remind you of early BTS?

The song feels very Run/I need U/Save Me BTS era and it’s good too. Do you see them blowing up big like BTS?

When I first saw the title of this post, I thought this was a troll thread and you just wanted &Team to be dragged.

But now that I see your reasoning on why you made the title, I can actually say I see where you coming from and somewhat agree😂.

Like those 3 song you named (Run, I Need U, Save Me) literally have similarities to Under The Skin.

Of course they don't sound alike, but definitely it has the same vibe and feel as those 3 BTS songs.

Kind of like a hopelessness, and longing for something.. Idk how to explain it.

Of course BTS earlier songs was more gritty and raw, and this one for &TEAM sounds like its for their lore+webtoon.

But once their album come out, then ill definitely be able to say it reminds me of earlier BTS during the RUN era in 2015, in terms of vibes.

Far as in them being as big as BTS, no I don't see it. Only because they're not Korean and are Japanese. Plus just cultural differences from Korean, that people might not like or care about- involving them.

BUT I see them being as big as TXT/ENHYPEN level...anything bigger than that??? I kinda don't think, but I see them gaining A big fanbase, Japanese and International.

They can definitely surpass ENHYPEN in the Japan market and be right after BTS on Japanese charts for sure. Cuz right now its ENHYPEN pulling big numbers over there after BTS.

Bighit/Hybe are obsessed with HYYH/Youth aesthetics. They tried it with TXT and now &Team. I can spot several similar images from I NEED U/ RUN MVS in Under the skin MV lol. And have I mentioned their main producers are all from Bighit? (Slow Rabbit and Supreme Boi)

I personally don't see a issue with it. (Not saying that you do)

But if it means them pumping out good music, im all for it.

Cuz can't nobody deny that BTS HYYH era was one of or THEE best times in their career, aesthetic and message wise...very vulnerable and relatable.

It's a good concept to do but i feel like they're making these groups too similar with each other so that nobody feels special anymore. Now it feels unnatural and manufactured af. When BTS did this concept, it was more authentic.

I agree with everything you just said for sure.

In my head, I wasn't even thinking about the groups end up sounding alike lol. I was just thinking, "hey if they gonna keep putting out good music like this, then they can keep it up for the longest".

But yeah I agree if they all sound alike, nothing is special.
