We have more hits this year but I feel Next Level/Savage made Kpop more interesting last year. You agree?

Well we have tons of big hit from gg this year too with IVE, Lesserafim, Idle and NewJeans
But i get what you mean by considering last year more exciting, i also have this feeling
And i think we have this feeling because last year was the year where can all agree that we really enter into 4th gen
Because it was the first time a 4th gen group really seems like competition for 3rd gen group, was smashing everywhere and was able to go head to head with BTS with Next level
I think a lot of people were curious to know who would comes out as the winner between the big group who have been dominating for years and the rookie GG who take korea by surprise with their addictive Next level

No. This is the best music and kpop year we've had in a while.
Maybe it's just that you like Next Level and Savage more?

no competition makes it so boring. a monopoly concentration is never fun. don’t what op is on to think that makes it exciting. it doesn’t

what's more exciting than seeing a rookie smashing the biggest kpop group's records?

ppl disagreeing.. lol aespa literally revived 4th gen's putrefying hype with next level no matter how u downplay it so sit down, yeah other ggs have their own merit for releasing bangers and making 2022 a great year but no one's pretending that there wasn't a shift of interest in kpop during next level era on my watch

aespa and sm stans keep repeating this mantra like they’re hypnotizing themselves to believe it but it’s just not true lol. there was zero big company debut in 2021 while 2022 had 3 big 4 ggs and a produce gg and they all made a splash one way or another. and now that we’ve seen kakao’s sphere of influence directly benefiting ive it’s impossible to call ive a true small company group like purple kiss or lapillus etc. too. so that’s 5 groups coming from privileged background debuting in the span of 1 year and the effect they had on the kpop scene is evident. they would’ve smashed anyways even if next level never existed. aespa had absolutely nothing to do with these group’s success but aespa stans keep deluding themselves they did for some reason. even gidle which debuted a few years earlier did well with hwaa in 2021 (it even reached number 1 on charts) before next level was released. tomboy had a lot of eyes on it bc it came out after their scandal and its success also had nothing to do with aespa. get a grip aespa stans yall are embarrassing yourselves
