==============
If future historians write the history of BTS's rise and fall, they will probably cite the failure of BTS to domineer the mind of the K-O-R-E-A-N-S as the reason of its fall. Bang Sihyuk's greed, indecision and bad choices (like not moving the members outside of K-O-R-E-A and wasting time to promote acts like txt) would be the second.
Unlike Napoleon, who made most of the decisions himself, BTS' decisions were mostly made by Hitman Bang, who often put his own interests first before the group's. He pandered too much for K-O-R-E-A, so he could feel important in there. In short, BTS was sacrificed so Mr. Bang could play a mogul in the same league with Samsung and Hyundai for one year.
However, the actions of K-O-R-E-A-N incels, who, to the bitter end, proved to be the biggest cause of downfall of BTS. (I don't buy the argument that they will be as big as they were in 2021, if they ever return in 2025. )
The presence of IU proved to be the biggest drag. Although BTS and other acts attacked the world, for K-O-R-E-A-N-S,
Lee Jieun, not BTS, is the top singer.
This anomaly was pointed out by yours truly for years but it was not corrected, and now the singer who caused more harm to KPop than everyone else combined has taken a firm #1 position among singers, while BTS is now ranked in the same level as a 52 year old actress.
After Waterloo , Arthur Wellesley was given a f*ckton of titles
and was given Dukedoms from Spain, Portugal, Holland and Belgium (although Belgium did NOT exist at the time of Waterloo) and field marshaldom from the above countries plus Austria, Prussia and Russia. (Hanover does not count since at that time it was part of United Kingdom - it was lost to Prussia in 1866).
Yet the rest of the world does not recognize Lee Jieun's contribution to suppress KPop and ultimately defeating BTS. It is only fair that shes given an honorary Grammy, an honorary Brit Award, and an honorary award from countries which awards popular music , and become the singer with the most lifetime awards in history but the world is so slow appreciating how much Lee JIeun contribute to defuse the KPop Revolution, which I think is unfortunate as no one contributed as much as her to end KPop's heyday.
