Give me short story ideas! I need inspirations

So I have a “creative project” in Fiction class that is due tomorrow. I haven’t got the time for it because I had presentations, assignments, two research papers and exams going (I was also lazy ngl). Is it possible that I can write a short story within a day?🥲

I have this idea of making a virtual book with a cover of the story’s theme and send the creative project like that. But I need an idea of a story and a miracle.

I can give u an old fic idea from me. I never wrote it down, but I`m not sure if u are into fantasy.

basically its about wolves and the moon goddess. she has 7 loyal wolf guardians, but one recently died. she suddenly felt the presence of a new guardian and sent her most trusted one to get them. they fall in love blah blah blah and slowly uncover the secret behind the dead guardians death.

but I fear its nothing for a short fic.

But yeah yk how short fics need a less detailed plot (or at least the one I want to write since there’s no time, I am going to make it super short).

Any genre is good imo. I was thinking of making a story about the Aesop’s universe idea how our alter egos on the internet evolved and created A.I people but I remember the professor arguing how science fiction isn’t really considered a literature so no Sci-fi.
