Why kpop fans apparently forgot about aespa?

IVE already reach almost 1.6M on Circle chart which honestly makes Aespa's album record negligeble tbh. Plus, IVE has 3 back to back hit and Aespa only has one major hit. Speaking honestly Aespa doesn't edge out IVE, it's the other way around. In the future who knows if IVE will still be leading 4th gen but as of right now it's definitely them for 4thv Gen girl groups with New Jeans coming in hot. Lesserafim has potential but it's like even though they have lots of viral moments it doesn't seem to translate into the kind of growth that would propel them ahead of the others named.

Also, just replying again because my phone crashed last time I tried.

"Not Promoted" is a bit of a stretch - it was literally a pre-release song, so had the full weight of public spotlight on it being Aespa's first song released in 2022. It performed well, but saying it wasn't promoted is being a bit cute with the truth.

Feel My Rhythm had more UL's than LSF's songs. It's one of the only handful of songs to get into the 400k UL's this year on Melon.

- New Jeans had 3 bangers that charted higher than Girls

they've been inactive for half a year while all the other GGs had comebacks, so it feels like we haven't seen them in a while. They need to comeback soon, SM shouldn't have postpone their comeback tbh
