Depends on the level of rigging. The NCT daesangs for example are so incredibly obviously rigged that it's almost setting the group up rather than giving them an award. I wouldn't be happy about an award like that.

But if the alleged Kakao privilege comes through and the judges give a completely deserved ArOTY daesang for IVE at MMA instead of the evil final boss trot man I will literally be squealing out of joy.

Another example: The super controversial Music Bank win for LSFM. I was NOT happy about HYBE buying that one although obviously I wanted one of my favorite groups to get a win.

I hope those LWY stans have the same energy for NCT as they did for LSFM. NCT got bigger awards and they are from a more connected Company so if they don't get investigated then I call foul on the LSFM investigation. It will be further proof of SK being OK with some people getting preferential treatment but not others. Makes SK crying for equality even more hypocritical. HYBE can rot but I never saw any proof that HYBE bought that win. If they did, it was a waste of money and caused enough bad PR that whoever was involved should be exposed and fired.

I didn't win the award and I didn't lose the award so I wouldn't give a shit.

I think the rigging is getting increasingly transparent because companies dngaf, they are trying to force their groups into becoming the next BTS/Blackpink now that they can finally see light at the end of those tunnels. But Korean music companies are delusional to think that any other group will take BTS's or even Blackpink's spot if they can just buy enough achievements, adjust enough figures, book all the same appearances, keep filling warehouses with albums. The global KPop moment is passing.

Pretty much every awards is rigged now anyway and it's unlikely to stop.

I've never cared about awards and I doubt that'll change.
