    Wait are you implying that run BTS did not as big? It has really nice streams on Spotify for a unpromoted bside track and very high views on its performance videos as well from the concert. It was actually gaining more streams than ytc before ytc got nominated for mama.

    Casuals/GP lost interest in boygroups, including bts. They just do better than the other boygroups because their fandom is bigger nothing else

    BTS members having every kpop soloist record on Spotify is not doing great on Spotify according to Melon chart stans.


    Next what? Hot 100 is also irrelevant and charts across various countries where BTS members as soloists are doing better than every other kpop group?


    Do I need to mention physicals sales cause Jin is smashing without his album even being out in west. You can't even begin to realise what the maknaes will do with physicals.

    BTS gained way too many bandwagon fans since Dynamite who are only there for BTS pop music. They don't really care about BTS old music and dismiss fans who like their old songs more.


    YTC is not something a new fan would relate to at all. That's the reason why it flopped.

    The reason why most new fans push for the OT7 narrative is because they don't care about the members individually. Hence their solo music isn't doing that well. Jungkook's collab was an exception because it was a pop song.


    So for BTS now, it's either pop song or flop.
