I cant believe that (beside Genie) Hype Boy and Attention are still top 10 on EVERY korean chart.
They had no public recognition before releasing these songs and theyre still absolutely killing it. Its so crazy to me how LONG though. Since these two songs were released the following songs were released:
Forever 1, After Like, Talk That Talk, Pink Venom, Shut Down, NCT 127, NMIXX, EXID, Seulgi, Stray Kids, Mamamoo, Kepler, Le Sserafim, G-idle. I just named 14 of the recognizable names to an american, not even the singers who released OSTs, etc that the GP tend to love.
out of the above artists/songs ONLY 3 are charting higher (currently, we’ll see about Zico and tbh Le Sserafim in the next two weeks) than Hype Boy.
