Uniforms vs different clothes, which do you prefer?

I think both can be nice, but in general different clothing are to prefer. But concepts with uniforms now and then is cool. But the "school girl"/summer dress concepts are boring.

Obviously this runs on a spectrum, but I prefer Different, but it has to have some unifying features (but that doesn’t have to be obvious)
