Starship made the right decision

  • to pull wonyoung and yujin from izone and reject the izone contract extension. Now they have ive which is bigger than izone ever was. I still remember how some wizone were mad at them for refusing to let wonyoung and yujin continue with the group and say that they will turn out like post ioi group. Really madness to think about it again

  • There was never an extension lol that rigged scandal almost made them disband early

Starship only got a small percentage out of what izone was making so even if Ive had less than half of the succes izone had, they would still earn more. Ofcourse there is some risk, but having a succesfull group entirely under your company will make a company way more relevant. In kpop company brand is everything. If starship never debuts a succesfull group again, the company would soon lose relevancy and be forgotten. I’d say it’s even more risky not trying. It’s a good way for starship to prove they can make a successful group if given the right idols. If they didn’t take the chance, it would make the company seem incompetent as if only produce can save their idols.
