Most successful in verified units for sure.
Square Up is in all likelihood way more downloaded considering two songs reached 2.5m downloads. That's 5 million, but FY and D4 still charted on the downloads chart more than a year after that certification. The other two songs on the album also would have at least some downloads. Just Gaon doesn't release figures anymore, so unless a group releases an album that has three 2.5m sellers, no one will ever be able to outsell Crush. -

Square Up would have a lot more additional downloads if we knew the numbers of the other two songs and the additional downloads achieved after certification was reached; we would have a better picture. Really charted longer than most of the Crush Tracks, despite "Really" not doing amazing overall. The difference is that back then Gaon reported downloads weekly. If Crush was being reported by the current Gaon standards, the album would have 0 verified downloads.
Pretty hard to compare after the weekly downloads stopped being shown. Square Up could realistically have anywhere from 5 million + to 7-8 million probably. -

They take some songs as reference and try to figure out the downloads. Even last year d4 was the most downloaded among 2018 songs. So u aren't wrong about square up being 5M and above in downloads. I wish they revealed the downloads.

By the rate things are going I wouldn't be super shocked if D4 and AIIYL both reach 5m downloads sometime in 2022. -
