If you have access to the account for the internet provider and a phone with data, you can try troubleshooting through the account.
Or find an outage map to see if it's a more widespread problem that needs time to be resolved

Many people complained before that if they ask the provider saying stuff like "I read online that half of my city is down" or "My family who has the same provider also can't go online" than the provider either says there was nothing or they say "we fix it/we fixed it" and nothing happens
