I get it. I truly do. Negativity gets more clicks.
But essentially we control the algorithm. Wether here, on social media, our daily lives...
We allow this when we give up to it and we allow it when we don't consciously try to push for a more positive algorithm.
We allow it when we give/give back hate.
We allow it when we feed it with our attention.
I understand that sometimes we can't help not engaging in the negativity in anons, especially when you see and feel something is unfair, but if we suppress the source there will be much less chances of it even happening.
Accountability is a huge motivator for people to be more careful with the energy they share too.
Plus, we're already essentially strangers to each other, I don't see how anymore secrecy could be necessary to express one's opinion here.
apparently, that part of the forum has the biggest activity and is here to stay. people like controversial topics. the only thing you/we can do is to ignore the section. i think that it can be hidden. but sadly, you won't be able to hide re: thread in the main section. : /
