Does Ive/NewJeans deserve success when they serve such basic music/concept?

Nugu groups like Purple Kiss/Classy/CSR are serving more interesting music than them yet are still nugu. Is this unfair?

IVE is anything but basic. They aren't even 1 year old but already feel like a legendary group. Their vibe exhude power that you just know they came to save 4th gen.
