ive got added to multiple kpop playlists as soon as their song dropped. nj had to wait like almost a month to get playlisting, and they were already charting consistently in spotify global before the playlists. ive and nj both had playlisting, only of different length and exposure. if you were a nugu stan you could feel salty about that but if you’re an ive stan you have no room to complain lol. that’s like the pot calling the kettle black and you just look bitter and salty and hypocritical

Now that they showed how easy it is to chart when you're added to the biggest playlists I bet a lot of companies will consider this strategy now. So maybe these two groups will chart if their company replicate the strategy

NewJeans playlist have 25 million more listeners than any playlist IVE is in. NewJeans playlists are also heavily focused on western pop music instead of kpop which is pretty much all of IVE's playlists.
IVE also charted on every other global chart besides Spotify, I'm not sure about NewJeans. So it's really easy to tell which group is organic or not.
Just because you think you can fool yourself with these arguments, doesn't mean non NewJeans/Hybe stans will be fooled too. Especially when it's clear as day.

the point is tth helped, but it’s not the only reason nj is doing well on spotify. before tth they steadily increased their streams for attention to 1.1m daily, and now they’re amassing 1.2m daily after tth. that’s an increase but not the huge increase y’all making it out to be. not to mention hype boy was always charting consistently similarly to attention from the start and this still doesn’t change right now even though only attention got added to tth. nj was doing just fine without tth, that’s the point. they didn’t go from nugu to reaching top 80 on spotify global thanks to tth like you antis’ bs argument. the numbers are right there to fact check but of course y’all don’t care about that and just want to make up lies to fit your narrative lmfao

No need to write an essay, NewJeans only chart well on spotify and are nowhere to be seen in other global charts. That's enough to be able to tell they are not organic. Next.

That may have been organic, because other groups also did that without a playlist that have 30 million followers.
but I can guarantee you that being added to one of spotify's biggest playlists surely wasn't organic. Only BP and BTS charted there before and that's when they were already big, you're telling me a gg that just debuted and couldn't even outchart other 4th gen groups internationally made their way there because they earned it? Pff. Their monthly listeners peak is all thanks to that playlist.
If they were truly global, they would've charted in other places besides spotify.
