Why do people move on to the next 4th gen girl group so fast?

Gidle, Itzy, then StayC, Aespa, Ive, Kpe1er, Nmixx, Lsrfm now NewJeans. As soon as a new girl group come, people flock to them, hype them up, and say the older groups are over. You don’t see this in 3rd gen or with boy groups, why this only happen to 4th gen girl groups?

because a wave of achievements coming from bp twice, makes those who don't stan them taking the 4th gen as their tokens and with the behaviour of 4th gen new gg that are record breaking, making them get flocked by many more success stans

People aren't "moving on". It's not as if these other 4th Gen groups have lost fans or stopped growing. Itzy who people claimed were over literally just sold a million albums so how the hell has people "moved on"? The fans have not gone anywhere and all these groups are still growing.

The only thing that has changed is who the attention has shifted toward. And logically people are always going to pay attention to whoever is fixing to be at the top. It doesn't matter if it's Kpop or not. That's just how society works.
