They were korean darling, but now they are not even in the conversation.
They still are in the conversation, but now in a 'they're not at their peak anymore', 'it's official, 3rd gen is over, hail 4th gen' and 'Korea has moved on from TWICE to other groups' kinda way.
Or some comments I saw 'at least TTT is doing better than Scientist, that's progress, right?'

They're not a top group anymore and only delusional onces disagree with this lmao
Seems like only bitter gg fandom's tryna downplay them agree with it

Twice went from untouchable NGG to a mid tier group within only 3 years. Even SNSD came back and showed what a proper NGG should be able to do.

Snsd had many flop comebacks before going on a long ass hiatus which is the main reason of them doing better now. I'm not even a once but sones are getting so delusional and rewritting history lately.

This is some rewriting of history. snsd had 1 flop comeback and that was holiday.

SNSD only had 1 flop CB holiday. Everything else was either number 1 or at least in top 10 for weeks. Stop trying to rewrite history yourself.
Meanwhile Twice have multiple flops where they barely stay in the top 10 for more than a few days or they struggle to stay inside the top 50 like now or worse scientist where they struggled to stay in top 100 lol.

Every SNSD comeback during 2nd gen was the most successful girl group comeback of the year (sales, tours, recognition, etc.) even if they didn't have the best digital performance. Only the 2017 comeback could be considered a flop, but at that point they were competing with 3rd gen. And they explicitly said that they went on hiatus to focus on their solo careers. Five years later most have stable if not thriving careers, and their comeback was a success even though people could have moved on
