if there is one thing bts hasn't done/popularised; its digipacks, 8+ album versions or album bundles.

album bundles were started by american record labels. at one time if you bought an iphone it came with a u2 album and someone was selling albums along with energy drinks.

Different Album versions especially member versions have been very common for Japan market. SNSD and Twice have been doing it very long ago too

But for real, i think it all started with SM

And the 4th gen group that actually popularised the cheap version / digipack is NMIXX (with the cheap light version, not a digipack) and lesserafim (digipacks) cause they were breaking records for debut. After that, you see aespa, ive, kep1er all also releasing digipacks

(Aespa's synk dive digipack doesnt count because it was expensive and more like a regular album, not member version either)
