If Pink Venom is a hit, then don’t Ateez/Stray Kids songs deserve to be hits too?

Stray Kids/Ateez songs are very similar to Pink Venom, heavy hitting with disjointed parts. Do they also deserve to get hits like Blackpink does?

I would say yes, cause I find their songs much better than pink venom. But for atz their latest comeback is heavy metal, hard rock inspired and even there is screamo which is really niche and way different from usual kpop, so I didnt really expect it to do better. I am shocked that they went for such risky move. But BP has more successful career path and more brand value. So everything they release will do well. Also standard for bgs is way higher even Nmixx with O.O charted better than all 4th gen bgs.

Honestly a lot of BG songs deserve to be hits. Korea liked Aespa's title tracks but happen to dislike all NCT songs

"deserve to be hits" tell their fans to stream their songs and support them then. Blinks are the ones who catapult bps songs to the top.

If you feel another group deserves what Blackpink has, support them to get to that level. Blinks may be annoying fucks and run their mouth 24/7 but if there's one thing they do it's support Blackpink.

only fans cant give u a hit, nct has big fanbase in korea but still they can't have hit song there cause no gp. Gp is more interested in ggs. Bgs have harder time getting any attention there. I have said even O.O charted better than all 4th gen bgs.

Nct is doing alright on kcharts lol top20 on daily is ok, worry more about those who can't chart at all

Sales are about fandom, I’m talking about relevance with the public. Korea aside, we can say Korea dislike boy groups or only listen to groups from big agency, but internationally, Ateez also don’t get good Spotify streams. They have fewer monthly listeners than NewJeans and their new songs has even fewer streams than NewJeans new song even though NewJeans just debuted and they’ve been here 3 years. I mean that shows they have weak relevance with the public, Korea or internationally.

It's not about deserve. Imagine listening to music purely because you think the artist or the writers deserve it. Look at how well Sneakers is doing. Deserved?

Ateez are in top 3 for the most streamed 4th gen group. Coming for little company it's big. While NewJeans are from hybe.. I don't like to compare my band with kids so I'll stop there to speak about New Jeans
