Idk if HYBE used eco-friendly packaging before but for the photobooks it seems they'll be using it.
They could have done this with Hobi's album.... 
HYBE is so inconsistent in their claims, It's peak clownery.
I hope they got wake up call from all the criticism. They messed up JITB roll out and couldn't maximize Its charting/sales potential due to no CD album. It's not like people were asking for 20 versions? Would releasing 1 regular album kill our dear Mother Earth? How about at least applying same standards to all their acts or are BTS guinea pigs and Weverse Album app ambassadors?
They should continue using eco-friendly materials for upcoming albums and give them same energy as group releases.
