she's from pd48, the show that attracts lots of solo stans and solo stans are obsessed. the way starship is promoting her as the it girl makes them feel superior to other idols and encourages the obsessed behavior even more.

Because they live vicariously thorough her the way many blackpink akgaes/stand do. Both are perfect self insert avatars for girls with low self esteem issues which is why they brag about their life styles, how pretty, successful and rich they are. Even though WY and BP wealth is not theirs.

Just like how bgs stans attach themselves to the groups' success and any criticism will feel like a personal attack to them.
