Taylor Swift x Blackpink

  • Heard from an infamous Blink that a TS x BP collab is brewing. Do you think it will happen? This comeback?

  • Taylor cares about art the most.

  • Taylor cares about art the most.

    Maybe

But to be completely honest, it would be a weird mix. Taylor is very involved in the production/writing of her music (and i dont mean a few random lines you can't even point out or picking some outfits in the MV). Also, unless its for a slower bside, i can't imagine bps typical beat drop-empty chorus fitting Taylor.

Ariana would be a better fit, but guess writing a few lines for a BP song is the farthest she is gonna go?

  • Yikes @ taylor swift if true

  • Taylor wouldn't collab with a group who's main vocalist would be considered low tier in the US.

Aespa are a better option since they actually have real vocalists and range.

I'm pretty sure Ms. Swift would collaborate with anyone who was either an artist or could give her access to a market that's unavailable to her. Since kpop doesn't fit either of the 2 scenarios, don't think you'll be able to list her as an achievement on twitter, blinks. lol

Think of it this way, Dua had a collab with BP when Dua was still c-b list. No way BP gets that collab now. Know your status kpop fans.

Taylor cares a lot about numbers and BP would be useful for her to break out even more in asia. She's also not a very strong vocalist so no idea where you coming from with that.

But anyway, I don't think this is true at all since taylor very rarely collabs with anyone

lmao, Taylor REALLY doesn't need bp to break out in asia

unless you're maybe talking about SEA, taylor is just as/more popular than bp in a lot of asian countries

she does A LOT better than bp on Spotify, BB, apple music,... and even on youtube, she's one of the better performing western acts there. if there's a collab, it's probably some sort of deal between their labels.

  • wouldn't surprise me bcuz 99% idols can't sing for shit and they be paying thousands or even millions for famous and great singers/rappers for collabs just m to get famous in the weat

  • Not a My thinking Aespa is anywhere close to MISS TAYLOR SWIFT. Know your level honey, she ain't doing charity. Now onto BP collab, is unlikely, not because of numbers, BP is very much a close global mainstream act and Taylor likes indie collabs, her latest collabs are all indie bands and singers that are US local, she isn't interested on getting big numbers with collabs cause she can do that by herself. Plus she cares a lot about the sound and its clear that BP and Taylor are in different sounds that can't be mixed together

  • If she does something like Look What You Made Me Do or even Bad Blood again then it's not a far-fetched idea.

Never said she needs them, reading comprehension where? but it would still be benefitial for her no matter how you try to downplay BP, they are massive there.

  • Y’all can keep talking when bp cb will do numbers your favs can’t touch

  • Taylor's collabs are super tailored and involved. She rarely uses collabs for their singing alone, she likes to collaborate on the song creation itself, to make sure they stand out in her discography.

So your best bet (if this were to even happen at all) would be a producer/writer-idol. Yunjin of LSFM is closest, but kinda random. The bangtan rapline, especially Suga, shows the highest chance because of high-profile name recognition and massive fanbase. Suga knows how to work with female artists. BTS and TS have also met at least once.

That said, I don't think any HYBE collaborations are likely because of the Scooter Braun issue, unfortunately.

Rose or Jisoo as a solo feature might work.

So you're left with truly unexpected collabs. Wouldn't count it out with Ms Swift tho.

An IU collab would of course destroy the universe.
