    They will tank chart wise like every other 4th gen boy group. Nct dream/nct debuted in 2016, so they don't count.

    GP cares about girl groups only.

    I feel like they will be the first flop for HYBE though, they already had a bad controversy in SK over those graphic and sexist lyrics.

    nah. bg stans don't care about controversies. they've been shielding him like crazy whenever he gets dragged.

    They won't flop and will certainly have the same success like the current top 4th gen BGs and if Bighit give them BTS's concept, they might even become bigger.

    It depends on the debut song. If it is nice like a BTS song, HYBE stans will make it the biggest debut ever. Else it can also be the biggest flop from a HYBE group.

    I still don't understand why gp gave up on bgs other than bb and bts and is completely blind to anything the 4th gen ones have to offer. I'm also wondering how the difference between svt and nct(both can chart around 20th place on melon daily) and 4th gen bgs(can't even enter top100) is so big

    svt and nct had more time to garner big fandom, they have debuted at a time where gp was more open to boygroups so they got some exposure. While 4th gen bgs debuted after gp went dead silent for bgs

    If there is anyone in hybe that has global potential rn it’s definitely them. Their success depends on their music tho

    Funny that BTS should have taught kpop fans that music is truly the most important thing about a MUSIC GROUP. Anyway, if they are passionate and hardworking about their music I think they'll do well. Though kpop fans are trash, their measure of doing well changes daily.
