I think I know how to do this. Okay, you see the top bar, how there's the alphabet going across? In the blue section at the top, you'll see vertical bars between each letter. Click where one of them is. Hold your mouse down and drag it to the side. There, that should have just moved it. Let me know if you need more help and I can try to show you with some pictures of my own included.

if u want to align the dates use alignment from home tab
if u want everything in capital letters, insert new column and give command =UPPER(text)
or if u want it in lower cases use command =LOWER(text)

dclick on the left hand side of the table where rows and columns meet, to select them
then dclick on either of the delimiters and it will space them apart

no text i mean select the text cell u want to make in upper letters or lower letters

You can set the row to be date, right click on it and go to settings or something like that (format maybe?)
