People act like its the end of the world when their faves do something problematic. In front of a camera they show a part if themselves of who they want the world to see. And when it’s revealed that your faves did do something problematic, people refuse to believe it. They believe their faves can do no wrong. But the reality is, we don’t know their true selves. Also another thing I don’t understand about kpop stans, why do they defend an idol who just barely debuted? You know NOTHING about them.
All your faves are problematic

I already knew all of this.

Doesn't matter if an idol has debuted 1 minute 1 year or 1 decade ago, you still don't know them. I don't know why kpop fans use time as a way to determine whether you can defend an idol or not, you don't know what is going through an idol's mind. I mean how many scandals have there been involving senior idols? It just proves that you will never know your fav. Doesn't mean you should assume the worst of all idols and that they're problematic. Just don't get surprised when the act they pull on camera turns out to be false

Way too many scandals have involved senior idols (like take Seungri as a popular example). But the same goes for newly debuted idols (gonna use another recent example: Garam). People were shocked either way no matter how long they’ve been in the industry. But fans are so quick to defend without any real evidence and act like they world has ended when it turns out their faves are problematic

Want a hit thread? Create this "As a blink, I think once are the better fandom as blinks cannot take a joke or criticism"
Do that on a weekend you will get plenty of pages
Make threads about blinks (or armys) you’ll get people talking

It isn’t lol but I’m just bored and want a hit thread. Really did think this would be the one but nope
fun

we don't know them, but that doesnt mean all of them are problematic.
They all are because like you they are human there's been a time in all of our lives where we have said or even done things we may or may not regret regardless if we knew it was wrong even if its something small, the fact of the Matter is alot of kpop fans act holier than thou and hold idols to unrealistic standards. Like the time they tried to cancel an adult idol because of something immature he said to his friends when he was 12🤡 fans act like people can't mature or change and if an idol does something they are irredeemable trash to be thrown in jail or shot like a rabbid dog even over the smallest shit. Nobody but the idol's friends family and members know them they likely like do and believe in things you don't agree with even if its not illegal, the fact they have that lifestyle and it gets exposed is enough to cancel people which is bullshit

Some people are cancelled for some really stupid things nowadays. Some legit. But some stupid. We all say say things that in a few years we’re gonna regret thinking back on it. Does it make us bad people? Not necessarily

my fav within twice is dahyun and she and the members have said she is the most different off camera to on-camera
that was kinda surprising and kinda not...in that what we see of our favs on stage / on camera might be totally different to what they are like in real life when the cameras aren't rolling so just enjoy it for whatever its worth
