IVE in August bloodbath, is it a good strategy?

Yes. If they underperform, we can say they are against the big names, they are still new or the previous songs are performing great still. If they perform well, that'll be a bomb. That would be a back to back to back success within their first year. They are not losing anything here, i think.

But I do like IVE's release strategy, only singles with MV, associated choreography etc.

Not dropping EP or Album.

Just singles to keep the momentum going.

And IVE really doesn't have a disadvantage in August,

If they fail, then the failure is against heavyweight GGs, so as the newbie, it is no shame and no harm.

If they succeed, then it will be impressive.

And even if they just hold their own, that also will be seen as a success.

Compared to the risk of BP or Twice failing in August, IVE actual either benefits or loses nothing in August.
